Modiya is pleased to host artists' projects related to Jews, media, and religion. We encourage artists working in new media to submit proposals and to collaborate with us in developing ways their work might be integrated into the teaching of topics related to Jews, media, and religion.
Already featured on this site are artists who reformat Jewish ritual (Melissa Shiff), address the Holocaust (Ellen Rothenberg, Omer Fast), take up the Kabbalah (Rachel Rosenthal, Robert Wilson, Michael Berkowitz, Grisha Bruskin, and others), and cross lines (Barbara Rose Haum's Trespassing Boundaries).
