Create a Unit
Administrators of the site can create new units which will appear in the left hand navigation column automatically.
The following section describes the steps involved in creating a new unit, and some best practices information.
To create a new unit:
- Login to the site as an administrator
- At the bottom left, you will see a link to Admin Tools
- After clicking on Admin Tools, a new page will appear with different navigation on the left
- Click on Units/Topics, this will lead you to a list of all units and topics.
- On the right side of this page, you'll notice a button called "Create Top-Level Unit".
- Clicking this button will lead to a page where you can enter the title, of the Unit. Any html that you put into the 'Introductory Text' box will appear as the main content of the unit. HTML entered into the 'Sidebar' will appear under Unit Resources.
