Ilana Abramovitch
Ilana Abramovitch has been Manager of Curriculum at the Museum of Jewish Heritage: A Living Memorial to the Holocaust since 1997. She holds a Ph.D. in Performance Studies from New York University, where she also completed the certificate program in Media and Culture. She was the Director of Folk Arts Programs at the Brooklyn Arts Council, a consultant for the New York State Council on the Arts, the U.S. Office of Museum Services, and numerous Jewish arts festivals. Abramovitch performed with the Living Theatre and Teatro Arco Iris in Italy, as well as working for the United Nations in Rome. Along with Sean Galvin, she edited Jews of Brooklyn. Ilana has published in academic books and journals and has been a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars
