Nicola Monat-Jacobs
During her time at the Faculty Technology Center, Nicola worked with the FTC staff to customize the DSpace platform for the MODIYA project. After an experimentation phase, her main responsibilities were HTML/CSS coding, standards compliance, Metadata, and JSP customization, as well as technical planning and project management.
As a Lab Technican with the FTC and the Humanities Computing Group, she worked as a web deisgner/developer on diverse projects, such as the Aphrodisias Database, FEDORA, the Schechner Ramlila Image Database, and support for the Hemispheric Institute, as well as individual faculty projects. Currently, she works as an Information Technology Specialist for eServices, a group within ITS, on Blackboard support and development, CMS development, Institutional Repositories (such as DSpace), and file storage solutions.
